Im gonna stretch and disagree really. I DO agree that there are few things in life gayer than a weekend cowboy that shows he has more money than brains by buying one of these new overpriced hulks; However their lineup shows some promise unlike about 8-10 years ago when you had to ask some guy what year he became a weekend cowboy. The double headlight on the fat bob looks stupid to me and is gonna become the new flat black of the motorcycle world. You heard it here first. The Vrod looks like something left behind in a rest area bathroom. That thing has always looked like an abortion to me. Nothing you can do to that bike will ever make that frame look "right" The dresser portion of the line-up will always look moderately the same as the past. You'll probably see them increase the wheel size and configuration a little too slowly like normal. I have a problem spending that much $$$ when i can buy an old one or a brit bike and have the same wind in my hair for much less scratch. JMO.

Not what I'm really into but, this local guy has a nice looking V-rod, the frame matching the sheetmetal really helps to hide it. A link to the build http://www.rodandpiston.com/forum/vi...eeda4b3cb315b9

why why why
do they insist on putting forward controls on the VRoid
the rider just looks stupid driving it
doncha hate the flying wedge thing-forwards and drag bars are gay

forward controls started in the 60's because
with apes/buckhorns and a king queen seat and a kicked out front end you needed
some lounge chair stretch for your legs on the hi way
the v roid is a street fighter kinda rice rocket wannabe for fuk sake
if anything it should have rear sets not forwards
Harley so missed the mark with this bike

Not that I am in the HD market, but the VROD, imho, is one tough, good looking bike. If it would run with something like a ZX10, it would be completely awesome.

It just looks straightforward, and purposeful with little extra stuff. And it is the best HD out there imho.

Harley went down the tubes years ago and aint showing any signs of improveing.
When folkes that have rode Harleys for many years, like my dad for example, can walk in a dealer able to afford what he wants, and walks out cussing cause there is nothing in there fit to buy, that should tell Harley something. They are gaining the weekend wanabees, but looseing thier repeat customers.
