I haven't looked for a while, but if my fading memory is correct, the spindle size along with the kingpin size is way different. I do know that a 1/2 ton axle will NOT fit my springs. The center to center is different, and the 1 ton springs are narrowerer. That is a little crazy in my way of thinking.

It doesn't matter what "period" car you're building, if you don't build it safe, it's still a piece of shit.

I'm not really a fan of the M2, especially since I plan to rebuild and drop my 500 Caddy engine between the fenders. I also want the front up just a little higher. Not cartoonish like a bunch of so called "gassers", but enough to give it the stance, and be affective. But I need to take into account that the roads arouond here have more curves than a strip joint, and I tend to push my vehicles a bit more than Joe Average. So thats why I NEED discs, and possibly IFS.

A Caddy 500 is only about 50 lbs heavier than a 350..... A m2 setup can be installed at many ride hights. Call Fatman and tell him what you want......he should be able to make it.

I used a superlow crossmember with dropped spindles to get it slammed. I just put a coilover on a 55 Ford truck and with the coils adjusted bout 1 1/2 inches up the threads, it sits fairly high.

There is only one little problem with that, my current budget on the truck is less than what you have in your paint job, lol. Don't get me wrong, I realize that Fatman products are well worth the price, and I have heard that they are easy to deal with, but just not in reach at present moment. I do really like how you did your truck up though. I really do appreciate the reply
