Clipping the front of those with a 2nd gen camaro is pretty common.

Trivial trvia!

Canadian pontiacs came with chevrolet frames and drivetrains - so they have balljoints and chevy engines in them. The wheelbase the shorter through, so the front clip was shortened behind the fender opening, making canadian cars front clips unique to those cars!

Got any idea where I can see a picture of doing this/that? Do they use a long line reamer and inlarge the tapered ball joint holes in the spindles for bushings and make long kingpins? Or do they make axel bosses like later model solid axel 4x4s to mount the ball joints on? GPster

My spindle takes a king pin just like 53-54 chevy stuff takes a king pin. You can see where the king pin fits into my spindle here

I saw a car going down the road one time ( an un-fendered Model A) with a '48 Ford front axel with a set of disc brake/ball joint spindles hanging on it. Thought it was ugly, could guess various whys but didn't know how. GPster

Here you can see the t-bucket axle and spindle and how it's connected together by the king pin. The same thing would happen using the Henry j spindle, you don't use the uprights which connect to the A arms.
