I got another one...finally paid for one. $300 for a complete minus eng/trans '70. Ugly, no class like the '63, but I got it for parts, mostly the short bed. Either the '70 will get engine/trans and '63 grille, dash, etc, or the '63 will get the '70 bed. I have a Dana 60 with a Detroit and 4.10s sitting around, and a Brownie box I hope will work for overdrive after the motorhome 727. '70 has an antisway bar and bigger brakes.

Having a hard time deciding on front suspension altitude. Up for dragging or down for handling.

Anyone have any input on the addition of track bars? These trucks are not known for their handling. The steering is push-pull, not sure what or how much effect the track bars would have.

Well, the '70 had $222 due for back reg. The '63 $700. So it's gonna be a '70 with some '63 and other parts. '77 engine, '80 ignition parts...kinda like Johnny Cash's Cadillac song.

440 cold compression test 90-115psi. Good enough to run a while I hope.
