Default save this old iron!

ok, well the other day i find myself in my local junkyard and the man has gone crazy. he is crushing, not just the 83 civic and the like, but iron...good old california rust free iron!. the guy would rather get 50 bucks a piece for a crushed car now, than get a computer or a cell phone and be able to sell it.. here are some pictures, pm me imediately if you are interested in any of this, the guy is willing to sell allot of this pretty cheap too. im out in mammoth lakes CA, 93546.

nice 5 window dodge with 6 cyl and trans!

not much is left of this elco, just allot of good sheetmetel

pile-o-bikes

all thats left of that chev is the deck lid and what you see

need a hood?

this is on a dually chassis but the body is great to put on anything else

this is all there, please someone get this i would cry if it was crushed

the stude is also on a dually chassis

perfect ford gauges out of a c.o.e. this truck also has the y-block in it (looks new)

need a camaro front clip?

there are two of these out there

and now the sad part,
this was full of cars, you could barely walk through here when it was full

the fate of most the cars you just saw if action isn't taken

the demonic machine itself

i hope these pictures wake some people up and we can save some of these cars!

Man, that white bus is SWEET! I could paint it all up like Ken Kesey or the The Partridge Family ...

Besides (not sure what they mean by it), everyone is always telling me I should be riding the Short Bus.

I used to feel the same way.

You know what? I watched a yard about 10 miles from my house crush a lot of old stuff. I'm talking like 50 cars that dated pre 1960's. Many many 1950 chevy trucks.

You can't save them all. Most of those cars there, if not all of them, will have NO title. Most of them are missing major components.

I'd love to save them all..........but I can't.

You can't.

....tell you the truth, I don't want to.

I "saved" a 1941 Ford car from my local junk yard before it was crushed out. Me and a friend ended up cutting that thing up into small pieces just to get it gone. No title. Rusted to the hilt. No floorboards....etc.

Nope, not for me. I'm done "saving" cars.

Call me the scrooge.

Save them and most will wind up on the BJ auction. Chainers have enough cars with more being sold to them everyday.
