4door sedan to 2door hardtop

found some doors off a 51 hardtop for my 52 pontiac 4 door....and started cutting.......

Gonna be doing this soon your basic idea gonna be hang the door then line up post ? Then use old back door as the 1/4 filler?

yes maam.....theres gonna be a little more fabbing to it too to get it all buffed out but heres something i found a long time ago that might help ya....it helped me with the basic idea of doing mine..

Cool thanx,,Was thinking of changing whole roof was gonna do the door swap before the roof though,,figured things might be better alinged that way ( fingers crossed )

yea thats what i wanted to do...but i just barely found the doors the day before yesterday....and when i got the car it already had a fucked up chop that i had to fix.....so i started there........but if i were to do it again with a stock car...id do this first.....plus if i fucked it up....at least i wouldnt have all that time in the chop and taking the chance on ruining the car!!!!!! haha
you still saving that sweet ass 49 chevy plate gaurd for me????hahaha...if i come across the cash....and ya still got it ......ill let ya know.......

Actually found a few more and a nice Buick one as well,,,I'll get ya hooked up at 1/2 what that one was ;)

really....that sounds like a nice deal........what parts are ya looking for right now?seems i remember seeing a post of you looking for something i think i had...but cant remember what it was........hmmmmmmmmmm ...haha sorry im a broke ass right now...but about to start a job soon so hopefully ill be making some cash.......

Well scored a good parts car from CadiKing so think Im ok now,,could use a top shift for a Packard trans ,,lol,,,We'll do some horse trading ,just been so busy shipping stuff ( and still behind ) seems like I never have time to get anything worthwhile done,,lol,,,I am still looking for a 3x2 manifold for a 331 Caddy motor
