Rodz readers are certainly no strangers to tough times. Most of us have been working stiffs all of our adult lives (or longer), so we’re used to being resourceful. Maybe it’s time to spread the wealth – the wealth of knowing how to plug along in less than ideal circumstances.
This is one of many times when being part of a rodding community has its distinct advantages. If you belong to a club, an online group (like the Rodz forums) with regional pockets of members, or even a loose-knit bunch of local buddies,chances are that you have something in your stash of spares that they want, and vice versa. Check it out.
That small block Ford engine under the tarp next to the dog house may be just what your buddy needs to finish up the rolling chassis on his Model A sedan. And he might have the Turbo 400 that you need. If not, maybe you know someone who needs it or wants it and you can do a three-way trade. Be resourceful.
